I would. Any type of infection indicates an issue with a depressed immune system. In this case it is probably because your dogs immune system is still developing. I’d suggest waiting until your dog recovers.
Keep your dog away from other dogs if the infection is contagious.
What bacterial infection ?
It depends whether it is has been ingested through eating something or a aural bacterial infection or a urine bacterial infection.
Yes you need to keep this Golden mix away from other dogs. There is no sense in infecting other animals with what ever it is your dog has.
Your dog is a Golden Retriever/Poodle mix or cross there is no such dog as a Doodle, that is something you do on paper while on hold on the phone, doodle.
It’s inappropriate to ask US instead of CALLING YOUR VET AND ASKING YOUR VET!
That’s a very important question and part of what YOUR VET should be telling you. -!-
