i went to the gyn doctor , and he said i have a yeast infection,
then he took a scraping and looked at it under a microscope, and said it looks like bacterial vagititis
He gave me a diflucan yeast infection perscription
then he gave me clindamycin cream vaginal aplication perscription
Im so woried to death.
any experiences from this at alll, help me please
any knowledge of who, what, where when , why, of Bacterial vaginosis please comment

Have had chronic problems with this all my life – Had to really eliminate all sugars and yeast products, including bread, alcohol and fruits for a time. Have been on those same drugs to clear the most pressing problem, but the diet thing is what keeps it from reoccurring. Try it. There is also a book called "The Yeast Connection" that is worth the read. As for the bacteria – toilet paper rolls in public places are not wrapped and are stored sitting on dirty floors etc. This is one way you introduce bacteria – dirty hands too – wiping back to front is another.
Yeast is part of our body’s normal flora meaning it is usually there in small amounts all the time. But when something happens like pregnancy or antibiotics (which kill off the normal bacteria that keep the yeast in check), then the yeast can grow out of control causing severe itching and misery. Sometimes girls think they need to keep things in the vagina very clean and use harsh chemicals like douching which can actually cause problems like this. Also, some chemicals and deodorants in tampons can aggravate this. The body has its own natural balance and you need to restore this balance. Avoid tampons for awhile, follow the advice of your doctor, and eat yogurt with active yeast cultures and lactobacillis in your diet.
Both yeast and bacterial vaginosis are caused by an over growth of critters that naturally live in your vagina. Basically, the balance of the naturally occurring flora in your vagina got thrown off, no big deal, the meds that you are taking should put everything back to normal.
you got some good answers already so i will keep this short. it is possible to have both and BV is a very common vaginal infection. caused by lots of different things so read up on it but it is not an std. caused by an overgrowth of bacteria. can be due to douching, anal sex, lots of sex, touching the anal area and then the vagina, perfumed sprays, soaps…the list goes on. but here is one great tip of advice, that clindamycin cream may end up giving you a rip-roaring yeast infection. so, my suggestion is to definitely treat the BV first, with the clindamycin cream then take the diflucan. if it is too late, you may need to use some over-the-counter yeast preparation like monistat after the clindamycin. lots of little buggers live in your vagina and most of the time they all get along really well. but sometimes the bacteria take over and you get BV, sometimes the yeast overgrow and you get yeast infections. it happens to all of us at some point or another.
Bacterial vaginosis can be from alot of different things. It can be from a change in diet, sexual activity, changing detergent, a stressful schedule (or unusal schedule), and even the type of clothing you wear.
