Has anyone used Augmentin to cure Bacterial Vaginosis? If so, is it an effective treatment? Anything else that helps?

who told you that you suffer bacterial vaginosis ?it may be fungal infection cheese like part may be trichomonas vaginalis of fishy odor so even it was bacterial infection augmentin is not the drug of choice as there is more effective and less in side effect and more specific on vaginal infection
I’ve never used it myself, but it is an effective treatment for BV.
Augmentin is usually prescribed for upper respiratory bacterial infections–such as bronchitis–and sinus infections. not sure about BV.
Augmentin is a strong, broad-spectrum antibiotic, so most likely it will kill off the bacteria. But, if this is a reoccurring infection, it’s best to seek the assistance of a gynecologist so the cause can be determined. Be sure to eat a single-serving size of yogurt while on this antibiotic (or any time you are on an antibiotic) each day you are taking it….sounds silly, but it is a natural and effective way to keep your normal bacterial floral balanced. Antibiotics kill off good and bad bacteria, and killing off the good bacteria is what causes yeast infections. :0)
creams, otc and antibiotics did not work for me. what worked was a completely natural technique developed by a chronic vaginosis sufferer herself
