question about bacterial vaginosis?
i had a threesome for the first time with my bf and a friend on the 21st of june. she came straight to our house from work im guessing bc she never took a shower or im guessing even washed her hands. so my bf went straight from her to me with no condom and im guessing her hands were dirty when she fingered me. well i know this is tmi but i need to know. I have the symptoms of bacterial vaginosis, such as the itching and burning even during urination, its getting better, i had imflamation of the vulva, and odor. but im so curious as to why i have bumps on the inside and kind of on the outside of the opening of my vagina. they are kinda inflammed as well .i was wondering if those bumps are normal or theyve always been there and there just inflammed bc of the infection? Please give me some advice.

Bacterial vaginosis is a mild infection that results from a bacterial imbalance of the vagina. It does not seem to be associated with contact with another person. However the risk does seem to increase if you have a female partner, smoke, or douche.
Reading your posting I do not believe the vaginosis is due to the other woman not showering before coming over. Reason why I believe this is because the length of time between the contact and onset of symptoms. Another reason, even though female on female contact is a reason for vaginosis, I feel, it has more to their practice and not hygiene. Now if you smoked or douce then, I feel, that is the most likely cause. Finally you ask about the bumps and if they are normal. The bumps could be associated with the infection and if they do not disappear after the infection then they should be examined by your doctor as they could be something unrelated to the infection.
It certainly sounds like an infection. You should see a doctor right away to rule out STDs and to get it taken care of. In the future, I would not allow someone who has not washed their hands to touch you there and definitely do not have unprotected sex. It’s dangerous!
It could be HSV-2, and not bacterial in nature. Primary infection with HSV-2 manifests as bumps that can occur almost anywhere in the vagina, vulva, etc. The lesions typically appear within one week after contact. If it is HSV-2, the bumps are fluid (and virus filled) vesicles that will ulcerate and be painful. These bumps will usually occur bilaterally (on both sides).
