ok so me and my man are ttc… when he cums inside me, if i go pee right after, im fine. but if i dont, i get a nasty odor and itch in the morning that turns into bacterial vaginosis. why is this happening? am i allergic to his cumm? does it not mix with mine? can i not get pregnant by him?

I have been having white chalky discharge from time to time for as long as I can remember. I assume it’s probably from my birth control and just a normal thing. I’ve been tested a bunch of times and I have always been clean. I had bacterial vaginosis once but I had no symptoms I just found out at a routine gyno visit and she gave me some antibiotics. I’m not worried but my boyfriend seems grossed out and I just wanna double-check that I’m fine.

I am currently using metronidazole gel twice a day for bacterial vaginosis. I am supposed to use it for 5 days, but my question is, can I still have sex while I am being treated or do I have to wait a certain amount of time? It wasn’t caused by an std or anything, and my boyfriend doesnt have anything either.

I’m 23. Last wed (1/28/09) I went to the gyno for a paps test and found out I have bacterial vaginitis and a yeast infection so I was given Metindonzole (misspelling) pills for the bacteria and a pill that starts with and F (fluentzole, misspelling) for the yeast infection. I started the pills last thursday and my doesage was completed. So a few days last week I was cramping like AF was supposed to start. My LMP was 1/14/09…I have a 30+ day cycle and today I am spotting with light cramps so AF is here! I’m confused because its a week early so that means I only had a 20 day cycle. I did have lots of unprotected sex around New years, bf ejeculated in me, but I got a period afterwards so I can’t be pregnant. I did have sex last wed with a condom, not sure if it broke or not, so Idk if its pregnancy, so the only thing I can think of is the anitibiotics…can this bring your period on early? I’m kind of nervous because this never happend before. Has this happend to anyone? If its not pregnancy its a hormonal issue from the medication I guess?

My parents said they don’t wanna take me to the doctors. Cause they want me to buy the medicine over the counters first to see if my infection will go away but if it doesn’t go away then they’ll take me to the doctors. The problem is I don’t know whether or not I have yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis. Can you help me? This is my symptoms: Fishy odor and cottage cheese discharge (sometimes its yellow).

Ok, so I went to the doctor on Friday because I believe I have a UTI. I also needed him to write a prescription for bacteria vaginosis. (get it a lot). He says that I probably got the UTI because of the bacteria vaginosis. Instead of giving me a medication to treat the UTI he just gives me the Metrogel for BV.
Will the metrogel cure the UTI too or do I need to go back to the doctor???

i’m treating bacterial vaginosis right now. i’ve had it in the past and i checked to see if i still had my medication for it. i do but i only have 5 pills left and says to take them twice daily for seven days. but since i only have 5 of them left i want to space them out. do u think it’ll still work effectively? i know i should go to the doctor but it’s so embarrassing now. i’m thinking of going to another doctor. anyways i need some suggestions. also is there any OTC medicine i can take to treat this?? how about home remedies?? please help thanks.
