i get bacterial vaginosis every time i have sex and ive heard live yogurt cures it completely. has anyone ever tryed this and if i try it will it keep coming back after sex as i never used to get this?
oh and also how long does it take to clear up?

however i always find metronidazole does not agree with me at all and i dont really like taking antibiotics anyway. so i bought Clearblue Activgel from the internet. Its a vaginal gel that you insert every night for 7 days and it is meant to restore the vaginas pH to normal and hopefully getting rid of the BV. im nearly finished the course and I have noticed the symptoms seem to have gone. Has anyone else tried this, and do you think it is safe not to take the antibiotics???

can you give bacterial vaginosis to someone who gave you oral? if you were diagnosed with it days before receiving oral, does it mean that you and your guy have the bacteria in your throats if you kissed after oral? how dangerous is it?

Yesterday i went to the doctor & found out i had a bacterial infection in my throat(tonsils swollen , white spots on them to) & i just started to take Azithromycin 2day. How soon can i see my tonsils go back 2 normal before my 5 day antibiotic pills are gone?

i have had it for 3 yrs and im having a hard time getting rid of it! i have been persribed medication but it just will not go away! i am very clean and careful! i let myself air out when i need to i dont use any kind of soap down there and i mostly take showers! i dont noe what causes it and i dont noe the side effects of having it for so long! ut it sucks! it smells and is very unpleasnt to have
i dont use soap down there because soap disrupts the natural ph levels of your vagina and causes yeast infection and tada! bacterial vaginosis! your a re only suppose to use water!

I have a rash on my labia majora, it’s really not even a rash per say.. it’s like a bump well it started as a bump kind of.. I’ve gotten rashes down there before but always thought it was from bacterial vaginitis, I get it alot, and I tend to have alot of issues down there, yeast, bacterial, etc.. so I just figured it was apart of that, my previous BF of 4 yrs NEVER had any issues like a rash or sore or anything, and we had unprotected sex for almost our whole relationship (I was his first).. I had one other partner before him that I had unprotected sex with.. I did go to the Dr at one point just b/c I tend to freak out about anything ‘down there’ and he looked at it and said ‘well it doesn’t look like any herpes I’ve ever seen’ so I defintely felt condident it was associated w/either a yeast thing, or bacterial, or just being irritated b/c i’m sensitive down there.. well I’ve been w/my current fiance for over 2 yrs and about 6mos ago he said he had a rash, I had been having BV and vag. dryness so we assumed, it was friction rash or something (i had not had a rash or anything during our whole relationship and if I had, it wasn’t anything that made me worry maybe just irritation b/c of BV) then about a month after that, he got it again in the same area– same thing– it was a small round with a few tiny bumps.. it was gone within a few days. Anyways, that was back in March when he had his last rash..
Over the weekend we were on vacation and we had alot of sex and I kind of felt like i was about to get BV, then I had a bump on my labia majora, which started itching a little then I may have broken skin b/c then it was hurting and sore, it’s healing now, but it’s freaking me out, it’s not in the same area, the other times it’s been up closer the clit area and now it’s down by the opening.. so I’m worrying.. it is just a flat sore area now.. idk if it’s like that b/c i scratched the h3ll out of it or what, but there never has been any blisters, never had any ulcer looking things i see online and it’s so small.. Any advice?? I will be seeing a dr soon, i’m just so scared i thought I was fine i’ve never had an STD and I feel like if it is herpes my fiance will hate me and leave me thinking I’m a nasty girl. and I’m not.. Please help

Also, I shaved a little on Saturday night around that area, is it possible that I knicked it then it got irritated when I scratched it and had sex and now i have this little rash? it’s about the size of a pea give or take a little, it’s so hard to see it’s not very red either so I can’t see anything, and i see NO bumps in it, just the normal bumps that are on your skin in that area so it’s hard to tell.. But def don’t see any white blisters or puss or anything it’s just a little inflammed and thre is a little pink and it hurts if u rub it, not really when u touch it but if there is like friction.. thanks everyone for serious answers only
interesting that u say I may have overly active hormone fluctuations.. I do know my hormones are all messed up, this usually happens around the middle of my cycle after I ovulate.. this cycle i was put on 100mg Clomid (we’re TTC) and it was a higher dose than normal, so maybe that caused hormonal fluctuations??

the prescribed medication for the bacterial Vaginosis?

So for the past year, I’ve been going to this really nice lady at a women’s clinic. She’s always sensitive to my feelings, and she’s been really nice. Problem is, sometimes I think that she is too nice. About a year ago, I had an STD scare, and I went to her, turns out it was only Bacterial Vaginosis, and she made me feel much better. The only thing is, that there were also wart like pimples down there. Tell me if she did the right thing: She told me nicely that most likely they were warts, but of course, you can never know unless you do a test on the area by taking a sample. She gave me two options, to just take treatment for the "warts" and see if they go away. If they do: they were warts. If they don’t: they were just "skin tabs". Or I can get a biopsy done, which is highly painful. I took the topical cream treatment () and they went away. I assumed they were warts. However, I’m still not sure if I have HPV (another doctor said they could have been anything)! So, should I switch
My problem is, she’s nice, but is she TOO nice, and is unable to get me the answers I want?

First off….I had an itching problem and thought it was a yeast infection so started taking the 7 days treatment but after the 6th day still didn’t clear up so went and saw the doctor and she told me i had Bacterial Vaginosis, so she prescribed me Metronidazole for 5 nights( i have been prescribed this before along with the nasty pill). So after the 3rd day i took it but i was standing up for a little too long where the gel came out a lot!! So i took the medication for 7days rather than the 5days they told me to take it. I am now done with it, and i have been having a lot of clumps coming out..looks like from the yeast infection treatment cream i was taking…also yesterday it smelled a little but foul but i think it was from the gel still coming out of me. My question is….Was it bad that i took it for 7 days? How long does it take for all of this stuff to come out?
Also…i called the doctor and told her about it….and bv is what makes you have the foul smell but i think i just smelled the medication that was coming out of me, but she prescribed me the yeast infection pill to see if that will work and i have taken it already. And i have no smell at all, but still am having those big clumps coming out

I have been dealing with BV for years. It comes & goes, but most of the time, it just stays. I have tried creams & the pill you take to get rid of it, yet it doesn’t go away. It’s still there after I have taken/ used the medication the docs prescribed to me for it. What gives?
