It seems like everytime i treat myself with a store bought cure for bacteria vaginosis or a yeast infection i will still end up with a odor soon after intercourse with my boyfriend in time . I’m a clean person i wash up after everytime we have sex how do i prevent from having odor without stopping my boyfriend from cumming in me ? Is this a normal issue to have from unprotected sex?

I was two weeks late starting my period (started today), but i started having cramps at the normal time. also, i’ve had other symptoms such as sore breasts and being tired. I am definitely not pregnant — i thought i was but the blood test was negative. i had a faint pos home test, but i looked later & it was close to expiring and may not have been stored ideally. Also, I don’t know if this is relavent, but i am in the middle of being treated for bacterial vaginosis, and several months ago I found out I had trichomonas & was treated, along with my husband (whom I’ve been monogomouse with since we got together 15 months ago. also, this is my first cycle off the pill, so i’m thinking that would be most likely to be affecting it. but the fact that i’ve been cramping for over 2 weeks doesn’t seem right. could it be a sign of a condition, or is it just my body trying to get itself back on track after being on the pill for over a year? why the cramping for so long? (& it’s not severe or anything, just normal cramps) anyone know?
the pain is standard cramps, not the worst i’ve had (i’d say around 2-3 on the 1-10 scale, not much more than discomfort). about the same as when i was on the pill, pain wise. and it comes & goes at the same intensity each time (roughly), like cramps do. i do still have some cramping today, i just started my period late this morning and since then it’s been milder. i expect it will be gone tomorrow, as the cramps usually go away after the first day.
i just thought it was weird that it started at the normal time & continued for two weeks until i finally started.

I think I may have BV — I have heavier brownish discharge with an unpleasant odor — and I was wondering if there are any non-antibiotic cures. It might be a yeast infection, so I’ll try those remedies first, but I want to know other things to try too. I’m only 13, and I can NOT go to a gyno, I’d be mortified. I’m not overly shy about any vagina related things with myself, but other people? No freakin’ way. Sorry.
The heavy discharge is new, the unpleasant smell used to only occur after skipping showers but now it’s happening every day. I’m thinking it might be a sign of my period, which is irregular and due any day now, but I’m not positive. I’m a virgin, by the way. I tried switching soaps and that didn’t help. I used to get a burning when I washed down there, too.
The cures can be natural, store bought, home made, I don’t care. I just want advice. Please no ’see a doctor’ answers — as I said, I can’t! And no douching either, I want to solve the prob not cover it up. Thanks

Is sex the only thing that can cause BV (bacterial vaginosis)?

My tot has had many an ear infection – most which she took antibiotics. But since it can be bacterial or from a virus, and usually we never know which one, can an ear infection that is bacterial clear up on its own? Or does it NEED antibiotics?
Btw the current ear infection I believe is from a cold that she just had. So could that mean its a viral ear infection?
How would antibiotics work on the ear infection if its a VIRAL ear infection people?

My husband has trichomoniasis & I have bacterial vaginosis. Is there any way that what I have turned into trichomoniasis in him. He says that my bacteria turned into a parasite (trichomoniasis) in him. Is this at all possible or did he cheat and got it from somewhere else? I know that Bacterial Vaginosis is NOT an STD & Trichomoniasis is but I’m confused as to how he has "trich" and I don’t.

I’ve had this infection for quite a long time now…I really don’t want to be examined by a doctor. Is there a quick home remedy or can I get a prescription without an exam?

Ok so just recently on Monday I had my first trip to the gynecologist and this is my first time meeting this doctor, so there’s no patient/doctor relationship between us. He tells me that it looks like I have bacterial vaginosis and I’m thinking is this why I’ve had so many other problems like UTI & a pelvic infection? I’m just now learning what that is exactly and I’m asking myself how long have I had this because I remember back in 9th grade or so, I’ve noticed an odor & discharge from my vaginal area. It really bothered me, the odor made me feel uncomfortable and I tried talking to my mom about it but she didn’t seem too concerned about it and I couldn’t go to a gynecologists. No matter how much I clean, the odor is there & discharge (sometimes discharge is a lot).
The doctor prescribed some antibiotics called Flagyl (the most horrible thing ever) and they’re not fitting well with my body at all. I have other issues going on like tingling in hands or leg sometimes, feeling like I might pass out or whatever, terrible anxiety and stress and I HATE the thought of taking anymore antibiotics because they all give me terrible heartburn. Even though the doctor said it shouldn’t bother my heartburn but it set me way back with my heartburn. Which I’m taking prevacid as well & those side effects are already enough, I’m not one who likes foreign things (pills) to be in my body all the time. THERE HAS TO BE another way to treat bacterial vaginosis & the health of your vagina??
i.e. like some kind of prescribed creams, over the counter creams, feminine soaps, natural treatments, just anything

hi there, Im 14 years oId. i started me period on the 19th of may, it is now june first and i am still bleeding. I noticed my period start to slow down on the 26th and 27th when i discovered a bump on my vagina lip on the 27th, it was very lightly itchy at times and very lighty painful when i touched it, it resembled a pimple. I began to panic but then decided to wait for it to go away. on the 26th i had stomach pains/cramps that i do not usually get during my period. on the 26th and 27th i had a headache and took some advil. I noticed on the 29th and 30th i started bleeding blots clots the size of a quarter after i’d sat down and that the blood was now more red and warm and came out faster. I have a feeling this is not menstral blood anymore. i aslo started getting dizzy spells on the 29th and 30th nd today aswell I began researching and came up with bacterial vaginitis. since, i’ve been cleaning my outer genitals more and the bump has gone down. i am still getting dizzy spells though and bleeding more blood clots every time i getup. Please help my diagnose this, whatever it is, and tell me some natural ttreatments before it gets too late. thank you so much.
I forgot to mention my father has a history of dizzy spells as well and i have had them before but they have went away and are coming back now.
