A few months ago i went to get a Brazilian wax. I didn’t realize but the stick was double dipped into wax used on other clients. Anyways i got these small red bumps which i assumed were ingrown hairs, but i have put a product called Tend-Skin on them and they have not gone away. I also have alot of white/clear discharge and an odor. What are the chances this is bacterial vaginosis? Do i need to see a doctor about this or will it clear up on its own? I’m a virgin, but could i have gotten an Std? What else could it be?

I’m pregnant, and I have bv and a yeast infection, but the doc won’t treat it till the second trimester. Does yogurt really work, cause I’m gonna go crazy if I have to itch another second.

I’m pretty sure I have bacterial vaginosis… I hurt myself a week ago and after trying to have sex last night I am even more sore and swollen, and my discharge smells like infection. Sort of like how strep throat smells? I am also a little bit itchy. What are my treatment options? I would really rather not take time off of work to visit the doctor if I don’t have to.
Also note: I’ve been tested for STD’s very recently and always use protection so its not that. I’ve also researched yeast infections and ruled that out as well.

I know it is bad to use antibiotics for a viral infection, but what if I choose not to take drugs for a bacterial infection? If I have a good immune system and don’t feel very sick, won’t I just get better naturally?

How long should you wait before having intercourse after being treated with Metro Gel (Metronidazole) and Diflucan. I have taken the prescribed amount for 5 days, as the doctor said. I had sex after 7 days, and was very irritated. Plus, there was this horrible clumpy white discharge. I thought it was tissue, but it wasn’t. How long should I wait till after this medication is completed? Did I make things worst?

I was diagnosed with BV about a month ago and was prescribed Flagyl. They don’t know what it was from. I was having sex with this guy I was dating, but the doctor told me it is not a transmitted infection but you can get it from having multiple sex partners. I noticed I got BV a few days after my period last month. I again finished my period about 4 days ago and I am smelling a bad odor "down there", and I feel it’s BV again. (I have not had sex since before my last BV a month ago) Could BC pills cause this? I was on YAZ for 1.5 yeas and my pharmacy just switched to the generic brand (Gianvi) and it’s changing my moods and everything completely- I was wondering if it could be the pill causing BV?
