I am on day three of Metronidazole and the fishy smell still remains…I haven’t even had intercourse. How long should it take after starting treatment will the fishy smell symptom go away? Should I go back to the doctor? This is crazy! What to do???

I just finished my 3rd/7th day, just wondering when the burning from the BV will subside? It’s really irritating and painful.

How do you get it, whats the symptoms, and is it an STD or just an infection?
Can washing your vaginal area too much cause it?

I went to the doctor and was told i had bv. I got put on metronidazole and nothing has really changed. I know to stay away from yeasts, eat yogurt, and refrain from douching but im going crazy. I know i smell and its not that im not clean. i really need some advice
i’ve heard from many different sources that douching is very bad for you. that it messes up your ph and can make things worse. Also, i want to stay away from deodorants and sprays as i’ve heard they too can make things worse

I think I have it but don’t really want to go to the doctor as I would be WAY too embarrassed to have them swab me "down there". Can they prescribe you antibiotics without having to, uh, look too closely? Is there anything you can buy over the counter which will help?

Have had this for the last 2 years and had it treated 7 times with pills and gells galore. All antibiotics, i read a betadine passary could be used? Is betadine douching or cream effective in the treatment of BV? if so where may i get this? Please help as i want to have a baby and am scared to try because of my infection. Keep in mind i wear a nuvaring, which sits inside the vagina, i wouldnt want to mess up my birth control.

I found a soft mushy spot on one of the leaves, and immediately chopped it off. I researched it online and found out it was a bacterial infection. But within days, all of the flowers have wilted and now it looks like its gonna die. Should I just throw it away or will it come back from this? What should I do??
