They told me to be sure to finish all of my medication before I even think of sex. You could be passing it back and forth, he could have the BV on him somewhere as well so you want to make sure it has had the proper amount of time to dissipate. Just because the symptoms are leaving does not mean it is gone and if you were to have sex you would just shove the BV back up there and irritate it is what my OB told me.
