Yes, it needs to be cleared up. Its not good to leave bacterial infections untreated during pregnancy, it could possibly cause complications, such as premature labor. The doctor will either give her antibiotics or a cream to insert up there.
yes antibiotics. The doctor can prescribe them to a pregnant woman because the infection needs to be gone.
Yea they can give you a cream but its messy but there is a pill for 10 days 2 times a day
Her doctor should be able to give her some kind of antibiotic i had this in my first pregnancy and i was prescribed Metronidazole 500 mg twice daily for 7 days after i was done the medicine it cleared up ask her doctor about this when you go back

Three good natural treatments for bacterial vaginosis are tea tree oil, live natural yogurt which includes probiotics and cider vinegar.
Tea tree oil can be added to a warm bath, and its antibacterial properties can help to kill off harmful bacteria-about 10-12 drops in a shallow bath is fine.
Probiotic yogurt contains good bacteria and can be eaten daily. Some women find it better to soak a tampon in the yogurt and insert it directly into the vagina to replenish the beneficial bacteria. A couple of cups of cider vinegar added to a bath can help to rebalance the pH levels which will be disrupted for BV to have occurred. i hope this help?
you can effectively treat bacterial vaginosis by using apple cider vinegar mixed with water. You will want to get in the bathtub and apply this combination onto your vaginal area and simply rinse it off with clean water. You could also grind Vitamin E and place it onto the vagina’s surface, but you will find that this will quickly prove to be expensive.
At night it is best to sleep in loose breathable clothing, you should avoid wearing tight undergarments or clothes at any time; loose undergarments and clothing will allow more ventilation and help prevent the infection from growing.
