Is having Bacterial Vaginitis a major problem?

I was treated for this but as soon as I had sex again the foul smell came back. How is it possible that my male partner is giving this to me. Is there another treatment for this? Any helpful responses are appreciated thanks.

i had bacterial vaginitis once but it wasnt the smell that bothered me since i didnt notice a smell however wen i had sex… IT HURT LIKE CRAZZZZYYY..
thats how i found out i had it because when i had sex… it hurt sooo bad….
i think if its only the smelll.. it doesnt mean u have it again…
if it starts hurting or getting discharge then u probably have it again.
1. He’s getting it from somewhere else, who needs to be treated
2. He needs to be treated
Definitely see your doctor. There are treatment options, but we cant help you with those.
Its not a major problem its enzyms in the fluid. and it would be any guy for the rest of your life that will cause the smell it comes and goes as it pleases no matter how clean you are.
That’s a question you need to seriously ask him. I can only imagine the excuses he’ll come up with. The chances of him having an untreated infection for so long without any symptoms himself is highly unlikely. He knows he has this infection and that he is giving it to you. The only time that this might be excused is if you gave it to him and then he thought he was rid of it and gave it back to you. I think it’s really the time to sit down without having sex and talk about it. Try breaking off the sex for about 2 weeks while you both get treated. Ask him for some type of proof he went to the doctor like a receipt for the medication or something. If your relationship can’t be this honest and open then maybe you should look for someone that you can trust. This is a decision that only you can make. Please do so wisely. You have only 1 life and it’s not worth wasting time with someone you can’t be open and honest with. Good luck and God Bless
it might just be a yeast infection since the pills that are taking for bv can cause a yeast infection males are not carriers of bv it does not cause major problem just can make it easier for you to contract other dieseas such as stds which can make it easier to develope pid and hiv hope i help some
