i notice my Bacterial Vaginosis recurs when my boyfriend ejaculates inside me..what should i do?
I had a bacterial vaginosis before but I got it treated immediately. I dont feel its symptoms when I’m not having any sex when he’s gone travelling or even when we do it and he doesnt come inside me. I notice it recurs usually two days after he ejaculates inside me. I would love to get pregnant and we’re planning to start a family soon.
Although it has still continually been debated, more studies have proven that BV isn’t an STD. It’s more on the disturbance of the vagina’s natural pH and lactobacilli presence.
How can I possibly be fertile again and bear a child when I intermittently take medications for its recurrence? Pls help.
And one thing more, Only women get bacterial vaginosis, not men that’s why they dont need to get treated. I need a precise answer to my question.

Bacterial Vaginosis is NOT an STD!
I get it when I work out, sweat and can’t get to a shower in a timely manner.
For my case, my Gyn told me to rub Metro Gel on my lips before I work out. I use Metro Gel when I get it.
Ask your Gyn for options, as I don’t think mine will work for you.
DONT LET HIM DO IT NO MORE
Have him treated too-he may be passing the bacteria back to you. I battled yeast infection for months until the DR put my husband on antibiotics too-we never had it again. Also, I later had two kids and had no problem getting pregnant.
It sounds like your boyfriend has bacterial vaginosis. I know it sounds weird but what I mean is that he probably has the bacteria. Men can get yeast infections from their sex partners, the woman clears it up only to get it again because the man was never treated. Since only you are being treated and he remains infected, as soon as you clear it up you have sex with him and he gives it right back to you you. Tell your boyfriend to go to see his doctor and have him explain the situation. He’ll probably have to get treated for it. If he doesn’t get treated then you’re just going to keep on getting it back from him.
