I have had one as well and it went away a day or two after I started to take the anti-biotics...As long as you get it treated early there are no risks...causes are pretty obvious, bacteria in the vagina, most likely from a penis, even more likely from an uncircumsized penis...You'll be alright and have ur sexual partner clean up before hand...Good Luck! Get it treated ASAP because it is uncomfortable and if not treated early it can cause long term problems. But if your appt. is 11 days from now you should be fine. If you can wait that long. And please remember that shaving or not shaving has nothing to do with vaginal odor. Some odor is normal but strong, pungent odors are not normal.
