Bacterial vaginosis does not cause you to not get pregnant. However, if you have bv while trying to get pregnant or are pregnant, you can cause complications with your baby’s birth weight or have a pre-term birth.
You should have your bacterial vaginosis cured way before you decide to have a baby. I also read on that it can be linked to a second-trimester miscarriage. If I was in your shoes and had bv for a year, then I would be looking at alternative methods to curing my BV.
A couple months ago I had bv pretty dang bad, turns out that the antibiotics that I was being prescribed were causing my recurrence, and the bv just kept coming back. I eventually found that a natural way to cure my bacterial vaginosis was the only darn thing that my vagina even responded to. Natural BV Cure was its name I think?
