Seems that I can not get rid and stay rid of it…my stomach feels like it has this poison inside it, and in the mornings it hurts so severely! I have used metronidazole pills and the clindamycin cream… but it comes back constantly, and it is itchy and uncomfortable!

i beleive you are either not taking the meds long enough to get rid of it, or you are having sex with the same person without a condom. if your having sex at all, you should be using a condom. go back to the doc and find out if you are taking the meds right or if there is something else stronger he/she can put you on. goodluck.
Try drinking lots of water, when I say lots I mean alot!! You will be peeing alot but, after a couple of days you’ll feel better. I had same problem till i quit going to doctors because they kept saying that’s what it was, but meds didn’t help. I sleep with no underwear, wear loose clothes (whenever possible) keep my area dry, eat yogurts, drink alot of water, and I sometimes still have problems. Are you sure it’s not yeast or something else. I also use Rephresh gel, they sell at walmart, when it starts to feel funny down there i put that and it feels better. It’s supposed to balance your PH. Hope this helps, God Bless
your vagina is unbalanced. it has a high ph balance. semen, soaps, douching and tight clothing breed bad bacteria. you need to be treated and talk to an Dr about using a probiotic like lactobacillus (google it)
I’m going to guess that you are having intercourse with someone who is infected and hasn’t been treated. Or are not properly sterilizing anything that might be inserted into your vagina. …
BUT first of all, have you been to a doctor and had everything/ anything else ruled out? I wasn’t aware that vaginosis caused severe abdominal pain. Usually just itching and burning. How long have you had these recurring episodes?
Get your partner to the doctor too and get them treated, go to the doctor yourself and rule out anything else, and refrain from all sexual relations with other people until you get your balance back. And always wash your hands, (and anyone else’s hands/ things that might come in contact) before allowing them near your personal areas.
