I have had my period for about 6 years. I have only had sex twice and i think i have bacterial vaginosis. My discharge is off white and sticky and it smells verry fishy ALL the time, and i have more discharge than normal, but my vagina is never itchy or red. Are these symptoms of bacterial vaginosis?
Is there a cure for bacterial vaginosis?
How did i get it, and will it go away by drinking alot of water?

Yes, that sounds like bacterial vaginosis. You will have to do more than just drink water to get rid of it.
You can either go to a doctor (they will give you anti biotics) or you can use home remedies. I found a blog that explained which home remedies work.
I’ll leave a link to the blog below.
hope this helps…
You could have BV. You will need to see you doctor so that they can take a swab to see if you have BV and then give you antibiotics.
Drinking lots of water won’t cure BV, but it is good for you anyway!
Sounds like it – go to the doctor to make sure it’s not an STD. If it’s BV they’ll give you antibiotics or a vaginal gel. I would ask for the gel the pills tend to make people nauseous but wear pantiliners if you get the gel because it will leak.
It does sound like BV. Chek out the websites below for more info. You should take Acidophilous Tablets to help balance the PH levels down there. Also Folic Acid tablets help heaps too.
You can get bacterial vaginosis regardless of how many times you have had sex or not. It is not solely a sexually transmitted disease. What it is, is simply a bacteria. Your symptoms sound like you should get it checked out and a culture done on the discharge. You do not necessarily need to be itchy or red to have bacterial vaginosis. No, Drinking lots of water will not make the infection go away. With some vaginal cream presecribed by your Doctor such as Flagyl, it may clear up.
go to http://www.earthclinic.com, click on ailments, then bacterial vaginosis, there are some helpful remedies to help with the problem.
bacterial vaginosis symptoms can be embarrassing and distressing. This is a very common condition and you will be surprised at the number of women that have suffered from it, and are suffering from it.
The fluid discharged from the vagina can vary in different women. Some women have discharge closer to a yellow colour. This discharge is one of the most common bacterial vaginosis symptoms.
When the discharge is released it can be accompanied by a burning sensation, although this is not the case for every woman. The discharge is mainly brought on by any disturbance to the vagina. This generally means during and after sex.
The symptoms you are mentioning can be bacterial vaginosis or it can even be yeast infection. You should visit a doctor to find out whether it is BV. Once you know for sure it is BV then you can start a cure for bacterial vaginosis. This is a very common problem and many women get it so don’t get upset. BV can be easily cured permanently if you go for correct treatment.
Hope this help.

Yes, you do have the signs of bacterial vaginosis (fishy smell is especially a sign of BV).
Drinking a lot of water wont cure BV.
Cures for BV include the following:
1. Antibiotics prescribed by the doctor – but this only solves the BV problem temporarily and tends to come back.
2. Natural BV medication as Femanol.
3. Using Natural remedies as: Eating Yogurt containing probiotics and can insert it down there. Alternatively, you can insert some of the acidophilus pills down there – its much cleaner than using yoghurt.
