Did anyone every experience bacterial vaginosis?

If so what did you do to treat it? over the counter medicine or self treatment is preferable

I have had it, and my doctor just gave me some medication for it. I went to planned parenthood and it was all free (if health insurance or money is an issue) It went away a few days later.
You need to go to the Dr. and there are antebiotics that will cure it very quickly.
