So…I can get prescriptions strength drugs in China w/out a Rx. I mean…that’s how it works here. You just go to the pharmacy and tell them the drug you need. So what drug do I need? I think it’s bacterial b/c the discharge is yellow and sticky. It doesn’t smell though. I have occasional cramping and discomfort in my abdomen. I’ve had this before w/ the same symptoms in the States but don’t remember the med. I took. I think it’s due to the really hot weather here. I sweat a lot and go around in damp, hot underwear during the day b/c there’s no air conditioning. I’m going to start wearing a panty liner but in the meantime…I have an infection. It’s not sexually transmitted either b/c my husband has always worn a condom. thanks for your advice and help!

I am being treated with Metronidazole for bacterial vaginosis. The problem is I dont have a fishy discharge yes I have a little discharge which is normal for me. But I am really itchy around the outside of my vigina especially inside my clittorous, I have not had a sexually partner for nearlly 3 years after I split from my husband. Is this itching normal for what I am being treated for. It is the second time this year. Please help

I just found out from a urologist that the urinary tract infection type symptoms that I have been getting are because of untreated Bacterial Vaginosis. I had no idea that I had it. I dont have the common symptoms such as weird discharge, itchy, or foul odor. but i just got prescribe Flagyl. 2 a day for 3 days. and I wonder when should I see results. also if I have sex will I smell bad even though I have none of the common symptoms. Im sorry but that would be very embarrassing

how is Bacterial Vaginosis treated? do you need to see a doctor or is there an over the counter method? is it the same as a yeast infection?

Last Tuesday I went to the doctors for a sports physical. I had to do a urine test. Would that diagnose a bacterial infection? I’m pretty sure I have one.

I am 37 weeks pregnant and I have BV the doctor gave me some gel to insert into my vagina 5 days at bedtime which im doing but when I wake up in the morning to use the bathroom and I wipe its an watery discharge & it looks like cottage cheese. is it working? does this happen? has anyone have had this before? Im going to talk with my doctor about it I go to my check ups now every week.
