I am having heavy discharge and itching bad. I got prescribed nitrofurbin or something and numbing pills. I don’t even hurt like I have a UTI. IS this going to kill the bacterial vaginitis? Because she didn’t even give me meds for this? Please help. I am stressed out

At how many weeks did you start curing it? Did you cure it at all? If not, what happened? I’m very curious because I am 17 weeks pregnant and found out that I have bacterial viagnosis 2 weeks ago but i’m here in the Philippines and I won’t be returning to California in 3 weeks (20 weeks prego by then). I tried my best to get the medication that was recommended for me but they don’t have it here. What will happen? HELP PLEASE!

I have already gone to the doctor and gotten an exam done. There were signs of yeast and bacteria so I am being treated for a yeast infection and bacterial vaginosis. I took one pill they gave me, and have another that I am taking 3 times a day, and a cream that I am supposed to use. But the pain/itching is unbarable right about now. It’s 4am and I’m awake and haven’t gotten any sleep at all. I was wondering if there was anything I could either soak in or apply to the area to stop the itching and uncomfortable feeling so I can actually function… Thanks.
Gah , i really want this to go away so I’m scared to start using something extra that might cause the meds or the current cream not to completely cure it . I need this to go away now! Thank you for your answer, I may try that.

For the past couple of months, I have been experiencing a brown discharge. At first it was a clear discharge tinged with blood. Now it’s just a brown discharge sometimes it’s stringy. It really isn’t a lot but every time, I wipe there’s brown. What could this be?

I researched BV (bacterial vaginitis) and saw that people were clearing it up with high doses of folic acid. So I took folic acid and the discharge stopped WHILE I was taking the folic acid every time I stopped taking the folic acid, the brown discharge returned.

There’s no way I can be pregnant. I’ve never had sex though me and my boyfriend do fool around. I am 22. What can this be??..help!!

I had Bacterial Vaginosis couple of months ago. I was given 14 Metrodizonale tablets and I admit I didn’t really follow the instructions that well, I did miss a couple of doses from time to time. But it did work and eventually cleared up. Two weeks ago I have noticed it has come back though the discharge is not heavy as before. Its just a little yellow with that same fishy smell. Is this normal? Im a virgin btw.
