Discharge, pain, bleeding after intercourse……?

I’m 21, i have been with the same partner for years and I have no children. For the past year or so I have been having a lot of discharge – usually white with a horrible smell. Over the past few months though I have developed pain during sex, bleeding after sex and itchiness. I have lost count of how many times i have been to the doctor. firstly they treated me for bacterial vaginosis, the treatment didn’t do a thing! then they took vaginal swabs and it came back as thrush, i have now had about 4/5 treatments for this and nothing! I suppose the itchiness has gone away a bit but i still have the discharge ( all the time ) the odour and the pain & bleeding. It is driving me mad and I just want to know what it is!!! I don’t want to just be told it’s thrush again by the doctor because it clearly isn’t!
And being 21, im too young for a smear test
never used condoms or lubrication so it’s none of them. I will just push my doctor to do more

OMG I REALLY NEED SOME HELP PLEASE!! what to do about vaginal health?

Ok so just recently on Monday I had my first trip to the gynecologist and this is my first time meeting this doctor, so there’s no patient/doctor relationship between us. He tells me that it looks like I have bacterial vaginosis and I’m thinking is this why I’ve had so many other problems like UTI & a pelvic infection? I’m just now learning what that is exactly and I’m asking myself how long have I had this because I remember back in 9th grade or so, I’ve noticed an odor & discharge from my vaginal area. It really bothered me, the odor made me feel uncomfortable and I tried talking to my mom about it but she didn’t seem too concerned about it and I couldn’t go to a gynecologists. No matter how much I clean, the odor is there & discharge (sometimes discharge is a lot).

The doctor prescribed some antibiotics called Flagyl (the most horrible thing ever) and they’re not fitting well with my body at all. I have other issues going on like tingling in hands or leg sometimes, feeling like I might pass out or whatever, terrible anxiety and stress and I HATE the thought of taking anymore antibiotics because they all give me terrible heartburn. Even though the doctor said it shouldn’t bother my heartburn but it set me way back with my heartburn. Which I’m taking prevacid as well & those side effects are already enough, I’m not one who likes foreign things (pills) to be in my body all the time. THERE HAS TO BE another way to treat bacterial vaginosis & the health of your vagina??

i.e. like some kind of prescribed creams, over the counter creams, feminine soaps, natural treatments, just anything

The doctor diagnosed me with BV a few months back. I’ve had to go to the doctor two times to try different medication. On both medications, i got a refill, so basically I tried to get rid of the BV 4 times. It just wont go away. I dont know whats wrong with me. Im so sick of having to pay for the doctors appointment when I know it wont go away. Any advice? Is my BV so bad that its going to take a lot of treatment or something? or do some females just have BV and it wont go away. Please help me

im 19, and ive been battling this infection for a couple years. it just doesnt want to go away. i went to the doctor, got prescribed a vaginal insert antibiotic called metornidazole, it didnt work. i didnt really notice much of a difference. it worked for a little while and it came right back, it wasnt even a month. i figured why go back to the doctor, antibiotics dont work and they dont work for a lot of people. this infection is really hard to get rid of.

i tried an over the counter BV treatment. its called vh essentials bacterial vaginosis treatment. it worked great once i first started using it. smell was completely gone, so was discharge. but now as im finishing the treatment, the smell is coming back and i have no idea why. im worried that every time i get off of it, it will just come right back.

im thinking about buying another box of the over the counter stuff because there are no side effects or anything and it keeps the stink away. but i dont want to be on this stuff forever.

are there any probiotics i can take that are good for bv? or any natural remedies? i will go back to the doctor if it gets out of hand but i see it as pointless because theyll just give me the same old antibiotic again.

i have a smelly vagina?
