So for the last two week I noticed my vagina discharged has been smelling fishy & stronger than usually When I slightly open my legs I could smell it. It’s so embarrassing & school is about to start. My boyfriend even told me. We haven’t had sex for like 2 month but he has fingered me. It doesn’t itch nor is it red. I recently ended my period & I thought the smell had gone away but it returned today again. I would go to the doctor but I smoked weed this weekend, I know not a smart choice but I’m not doing it again. I’m a 17 years old female. I want to go to the doctors but would my parents find out I smoked? What happens when you go get checked? Do you have any home-remedies that works? Is there anything I can buy at a drug store? Please help me & don’t be rude

I’ve researched it and it says the main symptons are itching, really strong odour and soreness and white-gray coloured discharge. So, my discharge was a yellow colour, but I have no other symptoms.
I also read the only way to get rid of it is get antibiotics from a Doctor, but as I’m not in any discomfort I’d rather not do that. So are there any natural remedies? I figured I’d just drink loads of water and cranberry juice in case.

never had sex before, but if you have the odor, I’m pretty sure it’s bacterial vaginosis…
how do I get rid of it?I heard inserting a tampon soaked in yogurt works.
Antibiotics only treat it for a period of time, it comes back, and either way, I’m not going to a doctor for this.
what home remedies can i use, and is the yogurt one effective?
** like i mentioned, to those of you (aka. "moushi moushi") who can’t read, I cannot see a doctor for this, for personal reason I don’t need to disclose.

Back in April I had bacterial vaginosis (fishy smell, etc) and then i used yogurt and the smell went away but then i started getting this white discharge like cottage cheese and i think it’s a yeast infection. I’ve had this yeast infection every day and the only time it goes away is during my period. After my period is over, the yeast infection starts again after about three or four days. Should I try using Monistat? (I’ve heard good and bad things about Monistat). Are there any home remedies that work?

i have had BV for a while, and i researched online for cures and the remedy that got the most approved was using hydrogen peroxide…but does using it after a while soon cure you of it?
i used it once before and it left me feeling clean and amazing for two days, and then i got my period..but i have it again so if i continue to use it more often, would it get rid of it completely?
i already tried metrogel or w/e that is from my doc about 1 yr ago..and it didn’t work.. and i used to be sexually active, but i’m not at the moment

My wife prefer herbal remedy because she wery into spiritual/religion etc.
I know herbs have much special property, do you know if she use sage leaf will it cure BV?
If she rub it on infected area two ,maybe 3 time a day for maybe week? She have female problems before and always use herbs/natural cures e.g. bayleaves, cumin seed etc.
Thanking you

Can yogurt cure BV? I have found a lot of websites affirming that plain yogurt containing the correct probiotics can actually cure BV either when consumed or inserted vaginally or both. I just want to know–has this worked for anyone? I routinely take antibiotics for this and it would be great if there was really a natural remedy out there, I hate taking drugs all the time.
Here are a few of the websites I’m talking about, in case anyone is wondering:

So I’m almost positive I have my first yeast infection (I’ve been reading online all the symptoms and it sounds to me like I do, not the bacterial vaginosis), and many sites are telling me to go to my gyno, but I was just there last week. Can I just buy yeast infection medicine or use some type of home remedy (like a tampon dipped in plain yogurt)? I want some relief asap because it’s itching very badly! How long does it take to go away if I used medicine and how long would it take to go away if I used a home remedy? I’ve been having this for a few days now. Thank you!
