I have bacterial vaginosis, I’ve taken the meds but nothing seems to work. I’ve looked at other posts on here hoping to find something that will help.
I noticed a lot of people have mentioned that eating more acidic foods helps restore your pH level but I eat acidic foods A LOT. Is it poossible that my pH level is too acidic and thats causing the bv?

Hello! I am a 19-year-old female who has been battling with an unknown illness. It all started when I found green discharge coming from my urine. The doctor diagnosed it as bacterial vaginosis and put me on a 2x a daily, for 7 days regiment of the antiprotazoan Flagyl. My infection did not clear up and I am not experiencing lower abdominal pain and increased urination. She took a sample of the discharge as well as a urine sample. She said that upon examination of the urine, it was cloudy, and after several minutes, the particles settled to the bottom of the cup. She says in all her years of nursing, she has never seen it. Here is some important information:
-I have never had vaginal intercourse, but have participated in oral and manual sex with a partner who has never had another partner.
-I do not take drugs or alcohol except for a daily anxiety medication, which has never cause me issues
-I do not use any sort of powders or creams in my vaginal area.

I am on the pill, but my boyfriend and I have started using condoms again because we figure it’s cleaner and safer that way. I’m wonder though, if lubricated condoms are known to cause yeast infections or be irritating? If so, which type or brand are less likely to do that?
I’d really like to do whatever I can to avoid things like yeast infections or bacterial vaginosis.

I am experiencing a swollen lymph node on the left lower side of my stomach. I have no idea what it is from or anything. I was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis though but I highly doubt that would be the cause of it. It’s been there for like a month or longer. It is starting to hurt me really bad. It is very tender to the touch. It also makes a disgusting sound like when your washing your hands and rub them together when I push on it. Does anybody know what this could be? Thank you

I’m going my first time in a week or 2 ’cause I had an infection known as BV (Bacterial Vaginosis). He said this time, they’re will be a FULL pelvic exam. Today, he supposely took a pelvic exam to test to see what was goin’ on. What’s the difference from the one in the ER and the one at the actual GYNO office?
At the ER, it hurt really bad. Will it this time, too?

The product Enzara is supposedly a pill that will eliminate vaginal odor caused by Bacterial Vaginosis. Does anyone know if it really works?

Before you read on I have only one sex partner (for three years now, monogamous and have had no std’s recently tested and came back negative.) I take baths daily so I am a clean person.
I found out two weeks ago (from reading medical records) that in January I had Bacterial Vaginosis and my doctor didnt treat me for it. Earlier this month it was discovered that my right ovary and tube were infected and that because the antibiotics wont work and the pain is so excruitiating that it interferes with daily activities. I now have to have surgery to get my ovary removed.
Is is possible that the untreated Bacterial Vaginosis caused this infection?
Any suggestions on how to prevent it from coming back?
Any suggestions on pain management?
I know its alot of questions but I would appreciate some help because the doctors wont give pain meds or f/u for the infection that is still present.
