For most of the 3 years I had spent with my previous girlfriend I had pompholyx. My doctor explained that pompholyx was caused by leaving my finger in a warm moist environment for continuous periods, she prescribed a steroid cream which controled the itching but never cured it. I have subsequently been seeing someone else and the pompholyx has vanished. My sexual practices are normal and are no different with both women.
My previous girlfriend did suffer from bacterial vaginosis. Could this be the cause?
The literature on the internet is very limited.

I’ve been getting a lot of clear white (smooth not clumpy) discharge and have noticed I can smell it and it’s pretty strong. I feel like everyone can smell it. When I get home from school I noticed my underwear is soaked and the odor gets stronger as the day goes on. It mostly happens on school days. On weekends and days off I don’t notice it and the discharge isn’t as much and the smell isn’t abnormal like I can’t even smell it. This has been going on for a while now and I know it’s not a yeast infection there is no burning or redness. Is it BV? But it doesn’t even happen all the time. Like it’s mostly in school with the smell and when I’m at home sometimes I don’t have as much discharge but sometimes I do and it’s a lot. If it is how do I tell my mom? I’m only 15 and I really don’t have a close relationship with her so I really find it hard to tell her anything and should I tell her even if it’s not BV? I read that BV can get worse if untreated and even make it so you can’t have kids which really freaks me out. If it’s BV what will the appointment be like for diagnosing it? And would I have to go to a gynecologist (I don’t have one)? What causes BV anyway?

I think it might be caused by bacterial vaginosis and I NEED something to cure it quick!

I have a Really Revolting Odor. Sometimes it Comes and Goes.
Sometimes Im Itchy.
My Discharge seems.. Heavier I guess =s im not Sure on That one but The white Can get a Bit . Thicky I guess Sometimes. Its not like the That discharge people Talk About when it Involves your Periods. That whitey-Cleary Discharge. ( i dont Have my ps yet ?? )

And ive Never had Sex if This has Anything 2 Do with This infection =|
and Sometimes, Occasionally. I get these Little Sharp pains Down There. Which I think is Weird. Sometimes To the right, and sometimes more Towards the top.

If thats Not it.. What Is it ?
How Can i Treat it?
And what Causes it in The first Place?

I have a milky white discharge with barely any odor, itching, and a sore spot. Ive been checked for Herpes recently and it was negative. There isnt an actual sore, just a spot thats very sensitive to the touch. The discharge looks like BV without the odor, but the itching feels like a yeast infection. Cant get to the doc til Monday, can anyone help? Can BV cause sores? Or is it something worse? I have had unprotected sex twice in the last 2 weeks.

i think i might have bv cause ive been feeling pain and irritation for two days and my bf and i had oral sex yesterday so im worried about him now.

I’ve been spotting and itching and at first the doctor said that it didn’t look like an infection cos the pH was different. I had a pap smear and they only said that i have bacterial vaginosis, but i am worried it could be wrong…my boyfriend had something that looked like genital warts, he said that its probably not…never went to the doctor…but i still suspect they could have been…and i was so sure that the pap smear was going to show hpv or worse…i still have a slight itch and a little spotting from time to time and it has been going on for so long. Should I just stop worrying if the pap smear didnt show anything? How sure can i be?
