My ex BF and I were together for four years and in those four years i got reoccuring BV infections. We broke up 8 months ago and i’ve been with my new BF for 6 months now and have not had another infection since. is it possible that my ex was the one causing my infections?

I’ve been spotting and itching and at first the doctor said that it didn’t look like an infection cos the pH was different. I had a pap smear and they only said that i have bacterial vaginosis, but i am worried it could be wrong…my boyfriend had something that looked like genital warts, he said that its probably not…never went to the doctor…but i still suspect they could have been…and i was so sure that the pap smear was going to show hpv or worse…i still have a slight itch and a little spotting from time to time and it has been going on for so long. Should I just stop worrying if the pap smear didnt show anything? How sure can i be?

I have something that seems like either bacterial vaginosis or a yeast infection. and today i noticed maybe two or three tiny red bumps on the inside of my labia that itch. could either of them cause bumps?

I am getting treated a third time for bacterial vaginosis. I have looked this up several times and the websites suggest causes could be multiple sex partners or douching. I have been with the same guy for 3 years and I have never douched a day in my life. The problem started about 10 months ago and this is my third time having it. I am a clean person, I take at least 2 showers a day and I know not to take bubble baths or use scented tampons or put soap in the vagina hole or anything like that. I keep asking my doctor if my boyfriend should get treated and she keeps insisting no; however I’m starting to question why this keeps happening to me. I am 24 and never had this problem in my life until about 10 months ago. I’ve read articles that suggest oral sex could cause it? Ladies, I need some serious help and advice because I am sick of this! Please help

I’m asking this because a while ago I had UTI, and I went to the doctors and treated it with antibiotics, but sometimes I feel a little pain on my sides, and I almost have bacterial vagonosis all the time now… I was just wondering maybe it’s cause my kidneys aren’t working properly??I’m 19 years old btw

I got the IUD& nurses said that an IUD can’t cause it, but on medicinenet.com, it said that an IUD can cause it.

I’ve had an IUD for about 4 months. Cuz I had a baby 5 months ago. Im tired of the crap! The smell, back pain, pelvic pain. Everything associated with it.

This is so embarrassing to talk about. But I can’t talk to my husband about it cuz he’ll gross out so bad. So I’m putting my faith in you guys! Please help.

I get it when my bf ejaculates in me. I got the fishy smell but it went away after 2 days and i never went to the doctor. its about 2 months later (i havent had sex since then bc we are long distance) i got a culture test , ghonnoreah/clamydia came back negative but i came back positive for BV. i got a period sept 9 that was normal. then about 2 weeks later i spotted, no cramps, watery period for 4 days, i asked my gyno about this she said maybe it was an egg shell releasing, i got the perscription for BV today but havent started it yet. when I went pee there is dried dark brown blood. same thing. No flow, no cramps, its not like a normal period. Does BV cause this bleeding? what should I do I’m really freaked out. About 3 months ago i stopped Birth control if that affects anything. But im scared!
