I never had sex but I’ve masturbated before and I’ve noticed a strong odor from down there. Is it possible to get a bacterial infection from masturbating? Or any kind of infection?

IF YOUR A GIRL SKIP ALL OF THIS TILL I STOP TALKING ABOUT PENISES
if you manage to tear tissue and get exposed by bacteria. yes possibly.
if you are chafed, and have friction soars.
decrease masturbating and or use lubricant.
if you have foreskin
anything and everything underneath it, no matter how small, is treated as a threat. your body fights it. this can even be small dirt or fabric particles. the dead micro organisms result in masses called puss.
puss smells bad. the masses may not even be visible but are still detectable via odor.
anyways make sure to clean that area, circumcised or not, uses soap.
scrub using your hands, let no soap remain.
dry as much as you can, bacteria loves water.
if this doesn’t help, drink less high fructose corn syrup (in most sweat not fruit juice beverages) increase vitamin c intake.
if that doesn’t work and really bothers you ask a doctor.
also after you masturbate don’t leave sperm on your dick. clean this off the best you can at the moment.
if your a girl, i don’t know much trust the women posters more than me. but foreign objects (dirt, germs, fabric, particles)
are threats and immune system attacks, the resulting micro organisms for puss with their dead bodies.
though also you must clean yourself on somewhat of a regular basis to avoid odor. especially around your period
If your hands aren’t clean then yes. But you can get an infection from lots of things, so it’s not necessarily due to that.
You better clean the penis by pulling the foreskin backwards after you have ejaculated. Cleanliness can drive away a lot of infections.
You can get an infection from taking a shower! The strong odor probably is not an infection though. A lot of times it is just hormonal changes. Ask your doctor on your next visit.
Yes you can any time you are putting things up there you can build up bacteria the best thing to do is as soon as you are finished go to the restroom (pee) it will help clean the bacteria out.
