I’m prescribed metrodizonale(flagyl) vaginal gel (5 days) and 7 days antibiotics – 2 pills a day for minor case of Bacterial Vaginosis. Symptoms are fine after day 3 – starting to feel side effects. What happens if I stop after 5 days instead of 7?

You should always finish all antibiotics. Just because the symptoms are gone doesn’t mean that all of the infection has been killed yet.
No. If you stop then the stuff has a better chance of coming back.
Keep going, if not, you will relapse and that is hard enough to get rid of and to keep it gone! ALWAYS finish antibiotics no matter what it is for.
Unfortunately Flagyl is a big nasty pill, but it is being used to fight a strong infection. I understand that to you it is mild, but the actual infection it’s self is pretty hard to fight off. Sometimes the antibiotic isn’t enough and they can administer the cream form.
Have you ever listened to the doctors or pharmacies? Always take antibiotics until you are finished. It is true the symptoms may appear gone but that does not mean that the infection is gone and can come back just as bad.
