can bacterial vaginosis really lead to depression?

I saw on the tv show the doctors that bacterial vaginosis can lead to infertility and also mess with brain chemicals to cause depression.

If I knew a had a bacteria in my vagina I would probably be depressed too.
Deceases that can influence your hormonal balance can indeed cause depression.
I have never heard of that. i know it can lead to infertility and make you rather sick if not treated. and it is moslty found in prego woman
