Can a bacterial infection affect the outcome of a pregnancy test?

I took three pregnancy tests yesterday, and they were all positive. All different tests. Today I went to a center and took their test and it was negative. Im really confused. I feel a bacterial infection has come back and Im wondering if that could affect a positive pregnancy test.

I don’t think so but if you feel you have an infection the best thing to do is tell your doctor you can also have a blood test to see if you are pregnant or not
A bacterial infection could not cause a false positive. The more likely answer is that the tests they have were not sensitive enough to detect an early pregnancy or it could have been expired. If you had three tests of your own yesterday that read positive, you are pregnant. A less likely explanation could be that your HCG levels have fallen, which usually means an impending miscarriage. I find that unlikely because the hcg would not clear out of your system in a day.
