Sorry to hear that you’re suffering from recurring Bacterial Vaginosis. Just know that you aren’t alone–almost half of women who ever develop Bacterial Vaginosis must deal with recurring cases.
I’d say that the cream is worth a shot, for sure. If it’s working, you should notice a significant decrease in your symptoms within a few days. Don’t expect your discharge to change significantly until your body can really repair the infection.
Once you have the symptoms subside, you really should focus on preventing another case of Bacterial Vaginosis.
Try taking a holistic approach–eat right, don’t drink alcohol, don’t smoke.
One of the most successful methods for preventing Bacterial Vaginosis is wearing a condom every time you have sex. BV isn’t known as a sexually transmitted disease, but your risk of developing another case of Bacterial Vaginosis is much, much lower if you do use condoms.
Also, if you douche, stop! By douching, you’re rinsing away the natural discharge which cleanses the vagina. This will only cause more irritation and inflammation, thus potentially leading to another BV outbreak.

Remember, prevention is key!
For some girls, for example me nothing cures BV.
