I have had a swollen lymph node for the past 4 weeks and was given antibiotics that I took for a week with no change in swelling. Now I findout that I have bacterial vaginosis. Could that be related?

No. It’s not related. But, you do need to cure bacterial vaginosis. Don’t leave it untreated.
I found a blog earlier that gave tips on getting rid of BV.
I’ll leave a link to the blog below.
hope this helps…
Nope. BV is mostly caused by wiping back to front after you have a bowel movement.
no it wouldn’t be b cuz i had it before and not once did i have a lymph node thingie, but as you probably already know its not a std it just a bacteria infection in the vaginal area therefore calling it bv ( bacteria vaginosis). it can be caused by many things such as what you eat your environment stress, and it sometimes itches and it sometimes stick and the discharge you have is somewhat brownish yellow while a lymph node is located on a lymphatic vessels, particularly at the neck, armpit, and groin, that filter bacteria and foreign particles from lymph fluid. During infection, lymph nodes may become swollen with activated lymphocytes. Also called lymph gland so they are very different
i hoped i helped
and try asking for some stronger pills or a different medication tell them that you are not seeing any changes and that it seems that its getting wrost. but speak up
