Sometimes it feels "uncomfortable" when you have anything penetrating you (whether it be sex, or a tampon), but often you don’t feel any discomfort at all.
The main symptom is the smell and the discharge, kind of white. No matter what anyone tells you it’s not a hygiene issue, you can get it if you shower two times a day, have no pubic hair and always wipe properly !
You really have to go to a doctor to get a swab to diagnose it, and they also need to check what antibiotic it will respond to. Also, it can sometimes be easy to confuse a bad urinary tract infection when your uretha gets swollen with vaginal bacteriosis.
And sometimes you can confuse it with thrush – so although I don’t go running to the doctor with every minor complaint, this is one worth going for.
Sorry I can’t be more positive, good luck !
yes,it hurts when u hv intercourse for the first time.what symptoms r u talking abt my angel?
it does hurt, the symptoms are burning, itching, and a very foul smelling oder. if you think you have any symptoms, go to the doctor to get checked out
It does hurt and burn and you will probably have discharge. Your vagina may also produce a bad smell. My best friend had this and she also had bumps on her vagina. They will prescribe antibiotis or a cream and it will go away.
See a doctor or go to Planned Parenthood asap. It can hurt you if it goes untreated.
What are the symptoms?
The most common symptom is a smelly vaginal discharge. It may look grayish white or yellow. A sure sign of bacterial vaginosis is a "fishy" smell, which may be worse after sex. About half of women who have bacterial vaginosis do not notice any symptoms.
Many things can cause abnormal vaginal discharge, including some sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). See your doctor so you can be tested and get the right treatment.
