Bacterial Vaginosis?

I am not sexually active but the other day I used this really strong shower gel and it irritaated my skin.
A few days later i noticed a change in my discharge, ‘down there’.
I thought it was thrush so i used thrush tablets but it still didn’t go away.
From what i have read i’m pretty sure it’s BV.
this is embarassing for me because i’m in my late teens and i don’t want to go to the doctor because they have to swab me.
Does anyone know of any good treatments because I’m really unhappy with this.
and, I have no pain or anything, no bleeding. Just a change in discharge.

If you have bacterial vaginosis, then you’re going to need an antibiotic to get rid of it… Not a big deal, but you have to go to a doctor to get a prescription for it…. Easily fixable problem… don’t worry… just go to the doctor.
You might also have a yeast infection! You can go down to the drugstore and purchase a cream (like Monistat) that normally clears up most vaginal infections. It should be in the feminine hygiene aisle. If that doesn’t help, then I would set up an appointment with you gyno. Don’t worry, it’s not as scary as it seems, and once you get it over with, you have a sense of relief.
sounds like an infection, hun. dont be scared; just go to the doc…its not as bad as it sounds, trust me. and once you do it will probably clear up the issue and get it over with. so dont delay!
