   I just got diagnosed today so I can tell you what I’m feeling. Started with a burning type of sensation around the vulva area and some frequent urination in my case (though the urination was not painful at all). To be quite blunt it feels like I am mildly on fire but not to the point of pain — mild discomfort. White (thicker than normal) discharge but without the typical fishy odor. Culture was done while I waited.

   My treatment is a one-day metrogel type cream. If you are worried go to the doctor. I began having symptoms last night and got an appointment today — better to have peace of mind. Your doctor can also run additional tests to alleviate concerns you have that it may be more.

   ok, in any gyn clinic they have symptoms of bv.First off there are two different types sexually transmitted and bacterial from not wiping correctly or tight pants things of that nature.symptoms are gray discharge, itching strong oder that worsens if you take a bath or dush the oder bv is more common in sexually transmitted bv nither can be cured without an prescription so get to a gyn asap good lock with that.

   Different types of infections:

   Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
   A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
   A fishy odor that is strongest after sex or after washing with soap
   Itching or burning
   Slight redness and swelling of the vagina or vulva

   Signs of trichomoniasis
   A watery, yellowish or greenish bubbly discharge
   An unpleasant odor
   Pain and itching when urinating
   Most apparent after your period

   Signs of yeast infections:
   White, cottage cheese-like discharge
   Swelling and pain around the vulva
   Intense itching
