bacterial vaginitis? STD? Yeast infection?? helppp?

Alright..so i have not had sex for a longg time.. and when i did i used protection and my partner (boyfriend at the time) was checked out as well. Just recently, a while after i had sex, i noticed a fishy smell, with discharge that was not clumpy, but sort of yellow-ish. No other symptoms at all were present. Then i recently got fingered and right after my vagina became veryyyyy swollen but then was gone after one nights sleep. I still have a fishy smell, no pain, and thin sort of yellow discharge and i dont know if these things are related or what.. what is this? ahh so confused.. =(

Sounds like B.V. You need to see your gynecologist though to make sure it’s not a s.t.d.
Most likely it is bacterial vaginitis. You need to go to the GYN so you can get medicine to clear it up if that is what it is. Best bet all around it to go to a GYN and be checked and screened for everything!
I vote bacterial vaginosis. Or it could be trichomoniasis. Both have yellow discharge. If its whitish or clumpy, you could have a yeast infection. But the fact that you mentioned swelling still has me leaning towards vaginosis. But DEFINITELY go the doctor, and you should get tested for std’s anyways. Do you itch or burn? Anyway’s any of those problems will probably need a doctor’s care anyways. The only recommendation I have, i that if you want to see if its a yeast infection first, (because you don’t have insurance or whatever) get the 7 day cream not the 3 day, which is completely useless in my opinion. There are also always free or sliding scale sexual health clinics which can give you gynocological services. Good luck
