A week ago at my 16 week check up, i was told i had bacteria vaginosis. It is the most disgusting thing i have ever had in my life. My discharge is non stop and green. The pills i have received to treat the infection do not seem to help! Has anyone else had this recently? Did the infection go away without a fight?

I’ll tell you what worked for me.
Get a panty liner and put a couple of drops of tea tree oil on it. Just keep that on for a couple of hours. Even better overnight. DON’T put it right on your skin, it will burn you.
This is not a magic cure. You should still watch your intake of sugar which can feed the bacteria. If you could keep away from sugar for a week (It’s hard because if you look at the ingredients, most food add sugar!) it would help your body fight the infection. Drink a lot of water to flush it out too. If you have a partner, use condoms until you are sure it is cleared up.
If you can stand it, eat a lot of plain yogurt.
It will take about a week for the infection to clear up entirely, but if you are still concerned about it, call your OB again. Its not uncommon to get infections like BV or yeast infections in pregnancy. Best wishes.
It is a B**** to get rid of. Just have your doctor keep testing you.
oh my GOD! I KNOW! I had non stop yeast infection my whole entire pregnancy, it was the most annoying thing in the whole entire world. But it cleared up as soon as I had my baby. Now, I dont know about the BV because I thought I had it too, but I didnt. But the yeast infection did NOT go away without a fight, it was actually a fight I lost, because the medication only helped a little bit and then it would come back. But damn, green sounds nasty, mine was yellow. But not to worry, it will clear up eventually, but keep pestering your OB, because it is very nasty, and unconfortable. Sex is super unconfortable too. And I imagine, with BV you can’t have sex.
