I think I have bacterial vaginosis…. I’m very clean and well groomed but when my boyfriend and I have sex the smell is almost unbearable How can I make it smell better?

Recently Ive Been To A Doctor In Which They Told Me I Have B.V.
They Prescribed Me Metronidazole Which I Take Two Pills A Day For Seven Days.
Well When Trying To Open The Pill Bottle Two Pills Were Lost Because I Wasted Them On A Dresser And Two Fell On The Floor.. I Call My Doc And She Told Me To Continue Taking The Meds. I Am A Busy Person 24/7 So There Where Two Days That I Forgot To Take The Pill And The Doc Said That It Was Fine And That As Long As I Catch Up And Contiune Taking Them. For A Couple Of Days The Fishy Odor Went Away And I Took My Last Two Pills Yesterday And I Noticed The Fishy Odor Again. I Call My Doc And She Told Me That It Would Go Away On Its On But HOW LONG?! The Smell Makes Me Sick To My Stomache And It Makes Me Feel Less Of A Person. Even Though My Husband Understands, I Even Hate To Sleep In The Bed With Him Because Its Not Normal..I Dont Know What To Do.Maybe This Doc Is Right But Something Is Telling Me That It Wont Go Away On Its On.
SO THESE ARE MY QUESTIONS
1) How Long Does It Take To Go Away On Its On

2) Is There Any Over The Counter Meds That I Can Take For It If So Please Do Tell

3) Will It Go Away Being That I Skipped A Few Days Of My Meds..Even Though I Took Them And Also Being That I Lost Those Two Pills

my mom died in mexico of multiple organ failure and at first they told her husband she had a bacterial infection but they didn’t know what kind? she went to the hospital cause she had trouble eating her food and she had really yellow skin. They even thought at one time that it was hepatitis c but they weren’t able to find anything until she was dead.

noticing thick, yellow discharge, that smells really bad, but my urine and every thing came out looking good, and i don’t have a yeast infection. What else could it be? Doctor told me not to come in unless i’m in a lot of pain or i start to bleed. any ideas?

So I’m 14 weeks pregnant and found out that I had BV so I was prescribed Flagyl for 7 days. Well the day that I got my presciption filled, before I even started taking the pills, I started feeling very itchy down there, something I never felt the whole time I was waiting for the results back to see if I had BV. I have been taking the Flagyl and have a doctors appointment scheduled for Monday but the symptoms have gotten worse. It seems the BV is clearing up, as I was having a fishy odor before that is now gone, but now I’m itchy and burning down there. I’ve never had a yeast infection so I don’t know what they are like but I’ve had thicker discharge, I wouldn’t really say it’s like cottage cheese, just thick and it doesn’t smell fishy or particularly bad, it just smells the way I would imagine "yeast" to smell. I am absolutely miserable, not only is our sex life suffering because of this but I can’t sleep at night and I don’t even want to go anywhere because my lady parts are so uncomfortable. : ( Can anyone tell me before I get the chance to talk to my doctor what this is and what I can do to treat it, being pregnant and on medication for BV already?
