I am a 16 year old female who was diagnosed with Bilateral Hydrosalpinx. Im confused on exactly how i got this. My doctors said i have PID which also confuses me cause i dont know how i got that either. Now this is the problem. It could have been caused by untreated yeast infections (my parents never explained to me what they were). Or it could have been the result of an untreated STD. Such as Chylamidia. Im confused because i never had the symptoms for any type of std. My boyfriend and i have had sex before but i am monogmous. I have been with him for 3 years, but he cheated on me in december 2 years ago. I started to have pain my lower abdomen on the right side about a year and a half ago. My parents ignored my request to get it checked out. They said its just cramps get over it. Well this week i went to the hospital turns out it is Hydrosalpinx, which is a fallopian tube filled with water, which is caused by PID which is caused by Chylamidia or gonnoreah or a Yeast infection. My doctors didnt tell me whether or not i had an std but they gave me doxcilyin. And i had a laproscopy. Im at home now 3 days later, and im completely depressed. They say Hydrosalpinx is the number one cause of infertility and i probably will have to resort to ivf treatments. My boyfriend says that he didnt give me anything but he always blames himself. His exact words were (MY BOYS SAID THIS IS ALL MY FAULT) instead of him saying i gave you an std. Im confused because i had symtoms from yeast infections not an Std. Idk what im supposed to do. I guess im writting this because i needed to vent, i need support, someone who has been threw the same thing as i, and someone who can maybe tell me if this is from an std (given the past history) or from untreated yest infections aka Vaginosis. Please someone help me.

omg this is helping, i just need someone who wont judge me and think im a bad person for having this, i trusted my boyfriend and he did me so wrong. My results come back tomorrow and if i they are positive i am done with him because its his fault i have to endure all this pain. My pain was in my lower right abdomen and it would come a few days after my period. It would start off dull and then get sharper and sharper and fade away and start up again. It was horrible and my parents kept telling me to suck it up its just cramps. And it turned out it was my fallopian tube filled with water. Now my chances of having kids are almost slime to none. im thinking if i dont have kids by age 25 im going to adopt a capuchin monkey. lol. Im so upset i cant wait to get my results back tomorrow.

Just wondering as there are many women without health care or funds. I have one but my doctor won’t prescibe it over the phone for whatever reason. I think because I had one a couple of months ago.

Okay, so not last saturday, but the saturday before i had unusal green discharge coming out, it was quite disgusting, and i had no idea what it is, so i hurried to some urgent care in the area and got checked out by a doctor that was said to be known to be really good. he quickly diagnosed me for bacterial vaginitis which he said was just an overgrowth of bacteria which is normal in early pregnancy, he prescribed an applicator gel, which i couldnt fill til monday, u was instructed to use it 2 times a day for 5 days. on wednesday i went to the ER for i was gushing blood. ultrasound proved baby was fine, heartbeat was seen and normal, and cervix was irritated was his guess but he wasnt certain. then sunday, i started getting clots, went to the ER once again, they said everything was fine, ultrasound proved everything to be fine aswell. past 2 days bleeding has slowed to just brown discharge, so i started getting up from bedrest and walking a bit around the house.
Light pink blood came out a bit, but not too much, I have a scheduled appt. on tuesday for a more advanced ultrasound machine so they can indefinatly determine whats causing the bleeding…until then, im a little frustrated that even though ive been on intense bedrest for over a week, when everything seemed to be going away, i got back to light pink instead of just staying brown. its a little annoying..my OB suggested i have placenta previa, which is normal in early pregnancy, to have the placenta lying low to the cervix. does anyone have any suggestions? had similar things occur wit their pregnancy? i just really need to get back to work and school and want to stop laying down all day at home!

I’ve been to the dr and he told me that I can’t go on mess til im atleast 16 to 28 weeks I am 15 weeks now and im a little worried because I’ve read that it could cause second trimester miscarriages… but I know I can’t believe everything I read. Its just my dr isn’t giving me any clear answers

My doctor blows me off about it, I have seen him multiple times and he tells me I am fine. I’m an to embarrassed to not take action of some sort. I am switching obgyns currently. But I have decided to self medicate. I have been dealing with it for 2 years now. It started shorly after had miscarried And put in mirena, an "iud". I have used flagyl and other yeast infection remedies. I have been doing more research on this bacterial vaginosis and it makes all the sence in the world. I started using a product called vh essentials, which is a homeopathic time realeased vaginal insert. I’m hoping this works, I’m looking for other remedies and also wondering of it is safe To use with and iud inserted. Thanks for your input in advance*please help.

So many women are without health insurance, and the cost of a doctor and the prescription can be too much especially if it happens a few times a year.

Can you put plain yogurt into your va-j-j? Will this help bacterial vaginosis?

Can you do this even if you dont have bacteria vaginosis?

I’d been having terrible headaches for over a month so finally I went to a dr. and he said I had a bacterial infection and URI from a cold I never got over.

Am I contagious?

He gave me Astelin, Loratadine, and Cefprozil.
I’m not sure what kind of bacteria it is, but it’s up in my sinua cavity, that’s all I know.

Does that make it sinusitis?

Can my boyfriend go down on me without getting sick as well? I know that if it were a yeast infection he could get thrush for going down on me, and I’m thinking it’s the same concept with bacterial vaginosis? Am I right?
