I was given Azithromycin for my bacterial infection. I have a MAJOR headache and was wanting to take tylenol for it. I forgot to ask the doctor so I’ve been trying to wait it out. Any one know? Thanks

Alright thisis VERY emabarassing .. but ohwell every woman gets it at least once in their life time.
I cannot tell if i have got BV ( bacterial Vaginosis ) or a Yeast infection.
Well i found these 6 day Pills to treat BV and it seemed to be working , the smell was leaving but the discharge is still there , but now it its "cottage-cheese" like,And i am no RARELY getting a bit of itching no buring ( i have a high pain tolerance so i dont noticed alot of things /Like-breaking a finger) ,so im thinking somehow it could have changed to a yeast infection , i dont know if i should go to the store , get a Yeast infection treatment , see how it works , or call my doctor and ask for a BV treatment over the phone. My doctor is #1 stupid and #2 hes booked right yup.

What is her secret to Bacterial Vaginosis treatment/cure in her book – 3 Days To Permanent Bacterial Vaginosis Relief ?

I was diagnosed from my OBGYN has having BV about a week ago. I was perscribed metrogel for 5 nights and finished it up (the last dose was 3 nights ago). Here’s the thing–i didn’t even know I had BV until i went in for a routine yearly pap smear…i probably had it for a good 2 or 3 months. The only difference i noticed was that sex was a little tender and painful and I had a slightly different odor to discharge (does it normally have a smell??). So, how will I know when I’m cured if i dind’t even know i had it to start with?

I almost want to go back to my doc and be like, "just check me out so i know i’m ok"

On my last visit to my gyno, I was told I had bacterial vaginosis. He prescibed me some gel called Metronidazole and was directed to inject it inside of me once a day for five days. Fortunately, it cured me in an instant.

Unfortunately, I got it again after having unprotected sex with my boyfriend. So, I injected more of my prescription and it cured me. After another unprotected sexual encounter with him, I got it AGAIN. This cycle continues to go on at least two more times until I had enough. So, me and my boyfriend finally started having protected sex and it never came back.

Can someone please tell me what’s going on? I read online that you CAN only get bacterial vaginosis from another woman and too many sexual partners, not from just one man.

I’m wondering does this have to do with my boyfriend being uncircumsized? I’m probably thinking he doesn’t wash good enough underneath the extra skin causing an accumalation of bacteria in there. Is that possible? Should have my boyfriend tested for anything?

I’ve had bv for several months now and I know it can cause infertility which really scares me! I read that I can put plain yogurt in my vagina and it will balance out the bad bacteria overgrowth. Have anyone ever actually tried it? And did it work? Are the any harmful side effect from doing this? Can I cause a problem by putting more live bacteria in my vagina? How long can one have bv before it damage ovaries and cause infertility?
