i know sometimes it can just go away on its own. what are some things you can do to make it go away on its own so you wont have to go to the doctors or go on medicne?

i went in for a pap smear and got a call back saying i had bacterial vaginosis however i don’t have any symptoms what does this mean? they put in a prescription for antibiotics but i would like to know if there are any home remedies to help with it?

i have symptoms of vaginitis, bacterial vaginosis, and trich.
what should i tell my doctor to test me for..

like i have no clue what to tell my doctor.. would i just tell her i have symptoms of thoughs or what..

I’ve had bv for several months now and I know it can cause infertility which really scares me! I read that I can put plain yogurt in my vagina and it will balance out the bad bacteria overgrowth. Have anyone ever actually tried it? And did it work? Are the any harmful side effect from doing this? Can I cause a problem by putting more live bacteria in my vagina? How long can one have bv before it damage ovaries and cause infertility?

ok..im embarresed to say this but judging by the symptoms (white discharge and oder) i think BV i what i have, i know its not a yeast infection because, the symptoms are diffrent then mine, i dont have medical insurence, so if anyone knows a natural, cheap, home remidy to et rid of it please let me know, im asking out of hope, i would like it if the comments are real and helpful, like i said embarresed to ask this but please any advice wil help…thank u for your time ^_^

I’m 11 years old. I have quite a lot of pubic hair and some underarm hair. I’ve got fully developed breasts as well. I started puberty at 9 years old.

Today I got some weird brown spotting, not like I was expecting; it was like moth’s poo (I hate that word) you get on lace curtains. Little tiny dots, along with the yellow discharge I’ve got. I do have Bacterial Vaginosis and I’ve got to get treatment from the docs.
When I wiped, there was a load of brown stuff. It wasn’t red like fresh blood, or was it textured, it was sort of soaked in, dried on.

What was it?

A few weeks ago I hooked up with one of my friends. We did not have sex, but did go up to oral sex. The next day I woke up with sores in my mouth, an extremely sore throat, a high fever, and a swollen gland in my neck. I went to the doctor’s and he said I had a virus because the strep test came back negative. He told me over the counter stuff to do for the sores, which did go away quickly. My fever spiked and my face turned bright red. The next day I developed a rash all over my abdomen, chest, back, and shoulders. I went back to the doctor’s and he suspected parvovirus, or fifth disease. My symptoms eventually went away but the blood test for parvovirus came back negative. I thought I was fine until I hooked up with another guy. We tried to have sex with protection and it hurt so bad and burned that we had to stop. I immediatly started to bleed from my vagina heavily. When I looked down there, it was bright red around my vagina, like irritation. I was worried but waited it out. The bleeding was heavy enough for a tampon, which at first I couldn’t even get in because it hurt so bad, and then light enough for a small pad. The bleeding stopped in two days and I called my doctor because I developed severe burning down there, especially when sitting, and a thick white discharge. He said I had a vaginal yeast infection and gave me fluconozole and nystatin lotion. I have had many of these before. It would not go away. Infact, the redness got worse. I also developed lower abdominal pain, shooting pelvic pain, and lower back pain. I went to my gynocologist who did a pelvic exam and said I just had a yeast infection (confirmed by tests). He gave me two more doses of fluconozole. I took them but it still wouldn’t go away. I was then advised by a doctor to go to the emergency room and get another pelvic exam since it was the weekend, for another opinion. They did a thourough pelvic and did four tests. The doctor said my vagina was extremely red especially on the right side, and I had a vaginal tear. She didn’t see anything wrong with my cervix or anything, but she treated me for gonorrhea and chlamydia. I was given four zithromax and a shot of some sort of cephalosporin in the hip. I was discharged and sent back to my doctor. Well the hospital lost the test results. I’m serious. They could not track them down and the hospital plain out said they lost them. I’m not under treatment for trich and bacterial vaginosis with three doses of flagyl a day. However, I still do not know what I have. I still have a fever, off and on pains like I mentioned above, thick white discharge, and now a sore throat again. Does anybody have any ideas as to what this sounds like? I’m getting worried. I am to give a report to my one doctor tomorrow and another on Thursday or Friday, but in the mean time, what does this sound like?

i have had a bacterial infection before, but this seems different, i have a white creamy discharge, a little odor (not bad) i can smell it through my pants though. i’m confused because its been almost a year since i have had sex, i was pregnant and not allowed to, i had my daughter July 2nd, i just stopped bleeding four days ago and that is when i noticed the odor and discharge, obviously i didnt notice it before cause i was bleeding, and i didnt have this problem while i was pregnant, what could have caused it? i’m a little confused, please help.
i did start BC (the pill YAZ) does that cause it?

I recently was diagnosised with Bacterial Vaginosis, my doctor prescribed metrogel vaginal, but after researching online, I’m not sure it is safe for the fetus. Has anyone taken this during pregnancy or can confirm this drug is safe? I plan on contacting my doctor with my concerns.
