I have bacterial vaginosis right now and am on 7 day antibiotics. I think i may have developed a urinary tract infection as well. If i go get an at-home UTI test will it be off b/c of my BV infection?

I just recently discovered i have Bacterial Vaginosis ….ew i know. It’s so embarrassing and I had to commit to abstinence. Any home remedies that worked for anyone? I also read that inserting a vitamin c pill in the vaginal area helped, anyone? thanks

I am vomitting and I have diarrhea.I was diagnosed with Bacterial Vaginosis 2 weeks ago and I faithfully took the meds to clear it up.I came down on my period and thought the infection was gone.I came off my period toward the end of last week and I am still discharging.
I am now having diarrhea and vomitting.
Is it possible for bacterial vaginosis to get so bad that it can cause diarrhea and vomitting?

I had my first sexual encounter last month and we did use protection.I came down with the infection as a result of my ph being knocked off because I had never had sex before in my life.

I discovered I was pregnant after taking (a few)hpt tests. I couple days prior, I had gone to my gyn as I was experiencing spotting, backache, and cramps. He tested for infection but felt I was probably just ovulating because I was mid-cycle. Now I guess it was probably implantation. Those symptoms went away, but when I talked to my Dr. to get the test results today, I was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis. I told them I was pregnant and while they were going to perscribe me Flaygl but since I was pregnant they changed it to the cleocin (clindomycin) cream. Then I read online that it is safe for women in the later trimesters but no good studies have been done on women in their first trimesters. I also read that some OB’s won’t treat the BV until the 2nd trimester, but then also read BV causes miscarriages! I called my OB back and she assured me it was fine, I also spoke to the pharmacist who said she did not see any problems either. Has anyone used this cream or had this issue in early pregnancy? I’m kinda freaking out here….thanks!

i have reddish irritation and maybe some red spots(not bumps) at the end of my penis. My girlfriend recently got antibiotics for a bacterial vaginal infection though she isn’t sure it went away. It doesn’t look like online pictures of warts or herpes. I’m worried it’s chlamydia or some bacterial infection any clues?

How do I know if its gone?

Please tell me I’ve tried almost every method to get rid of this and this is my last option.

Does anyone know a homemade remedie to get rid of BV or something you can buy from the chemist that helps? is there any long term side effects? i’ve heard it DOES NOT have any side effects but some ppl say it does, i’m rather embarrassed about going to the doctors & i seen a website that sells treatment it’s expensive but i heard BV can keep coming back! i’ve had this for about 9months but never done nothing about it cos i didnt know what it was as i got blood drawn for all STI’s which showed nothing wrong so i assumed it would go away but sometimes it gets worse than other times and its only the smell!
