I’ve finished taking the medication, but I’m still getting a few discharges (yellow and a little clumpy, but just a little and not as frequently). My dog ate some of it and I don’t know what might happen. I can’t really take it to the doctor anytime soon. What should I do?

How to cure recurring bacteria vaginosis?

In March I was given some metrionizole, which I didn’t finish as I was feeling nauseus, so other things were given to me, the meds were in an Asian language so I don ‘t know what they were (except the metrionizole. There was a chance I was preg then so treatments were delayed. Anyway, I had a treatment of metrinozole with 4-5 tablets that you take all at once, which I did take and tolerated, but the BV smell is back. I’m done with using lemon juice and vinegar, so now I’m taking the original metrionozole I was prescribed and going back to a doctor in the "West" to get it sorted in a couple of days.
I think I just need a stronger and longer dose as I’m about 110 kilos. I read on the internet that if the original dose didn’t work to take it over 7 days with 2 doses of 500 mg .

What do you suggest?

I am 14 weeks pregnant and doctor prescribed flagyl. On the 4th day of taking flagyl I had sex with my husband and now I am worried that it is going to do no good to take the pill should I keep taking them or just quit taking them I have 6 left.

I’ve got a habit of rubbing two fingers in downward strokes against my ear. I thought a cyst had formed but my physician said I had a
bacterial infection on the skin on my outer ears. He did not say what could have caused it, I suspect it was the constant repetitive friction. Am I correct?. Any input from a Dr. or a nurse, or a nurse practitioner would help.

I’m about 14 weeks pregnant..
I was diagnosed with BV last week (bacterial vaginosis) So I started using Metrogel on Monday. I’ve used it for 3 days so far and noticed the gel coming out (which is normal and it turns white) The doctor told me about this…but Sometimes I see alittle light pinkish orange color with it. Now I called the doctor and she said it’s probably just the gel and from my papsmear yesterday…but I’ve read online about other people with these same symptoms that didn’t turn out good…my doctor told me to keep taking the cream seeing as I only have tonight and tomorrow left to take it…but I’m scared..I just want my baby to not get hurt….Has anyone had any simular side effects…? Or do you know anything about metrogel?

Bacterial Vaginosis?

Has anyone else encountered this? If so, did you have more than one episode of it? How often? How did you treat it? Did you determine what might have caused it?

This is the 3rd time Ive had it in a year, I take the medications, it goes away, but then comes back. I think my fiance and I have figured out what maybe causing me to get it, I had never had it before that first time.

Ive done all the research, in fact my doctor was quite impressed with my knowledge.

I’m not looking for documented research on it, as Ive already done that myself and have read numerous articles on it. Im just looking for personal experience information/advice.

Thanks in advance!!

Can bacterial vaginosis go away on its own?

I don’t have BV, I’m seriously just curious. Some people say it can go away on it’s own, others say that you HAVE to have antibiotics or it won’t go away. I looked it up on google and it still has both sides. Does anyone know the actual answer?
Thanks!
