And if so, would that mean that taking antibiotics every so often just for the hell of it, would help wipe out the bacterial infections you may have and not know? And making sure to constantly try to stay healthy, because you may be fighting a viral/bacterial infection?

What are some natural home remedies for bacterial vaginosis?
Or would it be best recommended to just see an ob/gyn?

slight burning but would this cause bleeding too?
After going to the bathroom I noticed very small bits of bright red blood on the toilet tissue. It’s happened a few times. I’ve recently started a sexual relationship that can get, um, intense but the blood sometimes appears days after sex. So that doesn’t seem to be the cause.
What could cause bleeding labia? I also noticed a small amount of blood from my vagina itself but my period was a week ago.

for a couple days now, i’ve thought that i had a yeast infection. i had all the right symptoms: the discharge, the burning, swelling, inflamation, and itching. i tried to self-treat it. however, none of the symptoms went away.
i researched yeast infection and found out that it is NOT, in fact, accompanied by a foul odor, of which i do have. i also read that bacterial vaginosis is commonly mistaken for yeast infection, yet carries a foul odor of which a yeast infection does not.
i am a virgin and have never been sexually active before. bacterial vaginosis is said to be most commonly transmitted through sex.
is there something i’m missing here? this could be serious; i don’t want to treat it like it isn’t.

i have had bv for about a year. until recently i didnt know what i had. i was prescibed flagyl for the 7 day period. it started to go away (to my excitement) but didnt seem to fully go away. then about 2-3 days after the treatment it came back. i dont have the odor just a lot of discharge. has anyone had success in treating this. i just started with the acidophilus pills. anything you could tell me would greatly be appreciated. im just so tired of this!
only serious answers please. (if you knew what this was like you wouldnt be making any jokes.)

sorry if too much information- ok i had sex like a week and a half ago, and ever since i feel like i have a very slight UTI that wont go away, but it is very mild (it barely bothers me but it is there). Also, my discharge has a slighty smelly odor but the color of it is normal.. what could it be? Also, I have had bacterial vaginosis two times before, and what i have right now seems like a very mild version of it, that is why i dont know if i have it or not because my symptoms are not like the last time i had BV.. i have an extra prescription of metronidazole for BV, if i take the prescription and it turns out i dont have BV, would it hurt me? i dont really want to go to the gyno because it takes them a week to get back the results, and i already have the medication if it is BV.
THANKYOU!
yes i have protected sex and i have good hygiene
