I’m pregnant and think I have this … any women know the symptoms??? All I have is a yellowish discharge and It feels like I have to pee when I don’t??

ok, so I never knew what bacterial vaginosis was until I got with my girlfriend. And when she told me about the symptoms i was beginning to think thats what i had. the fishy odor, the yellow/white discharge, sometimes cottage cheese-like, and i would get ALOT of discharge. So i talked to my Dr. and i knew it wasnt a yeast infection, and he agreed, so he gave me antibiotics, metrodizanole, and while i was taking it, i was having no discharge and no fishy odor at all. But when i was finished with the antibiotics, it came back the next day! My doctor said it could be vaginitis, but i havent had sex with any dudes cause im a LESBIAN.. and I know i didnt get it from my girlfriend cause she doesnt have nothin wrong with her.. but anyways i hate the fact that i have this problem because i get a lot of discharge and makes me itch (yes, i wear cotton underwear)… and also this usually happens right after i finish my period ( a week) and right before i start again (3 days or more)..

I went to the doctor due to foul odor, vaginal discharge, cloudy urine, etc, and they did a pelvic exam and diagnosed me with Bacterial Vaginosis. What is this caused by? How long does it take for the meds to kick in and for it to work? If anyone else had/has this, did you experience nausea at all with and without medication? Why do people think this is an STD- the doctor said it is not an STD and even girls who are not sexually active can get this.

I have had BV for a few months now.. Ive been to the doc but they havent helped at all..Does anyone know of a cure or a remedy to treat the smell or discharge??? Also, I no longer have natural vaginal wetness…why? Can I get it back?

So, I was diagnosed again with BV, the first time was back in June, I was treated with Metrogel but now it came back and now I am back with the same gel again, the discharge is there and sometimes I feel pain in my abdomen. My 2 pap smears have tested abnormal but my hpv is negative. Will the gel help to clear this BV?
Any suggestions?
