I have been treated several times in the last year for BV. And after every treatment I get it back about a month later. I am heading back to the doctors AGAIN this month. If anyone has some insight, please fill me in. My doctor seems just as confused. I have actually seen two Drs about this! None of the typical casues apply to me. And I am not fond of yogurt, but if it helps I will try it!

i have this for 9 months now and i thought it’s not a big deal since i come across about BV in the internet and feared it was really bad since i am pregnant in my third trimester! it worries me so much! i have not consulted a doctor since i thought that it just a simple discharge that can be cured with lactacyd or any feminine wash. im so worried that this might affect my baby’s development as well as his brain. can i still cure BV in my third trimester? would it have any complications? im searching for any herbal remedies, can anyone recommend the best way to treat it? do i really need to see a doctor for this since i do not experience any other symptoms except my discharge is milky and have a very foul odor, though its not painful to urinate and the like..

I haven’t been diagnosed yet, but I think I may have the right symptoms for bacterial vaginosis (foul smell, itchy). I’m on my period so I don’t know if I’m having weird discharge. I also just lost my virginity, which I heard can add to the cause (new sexual partner).
I’ve never been to a gynecologist. I want to seek treatment/diagnosis from a doctor but this is something that I can’t let my parents find out about; should I go to Planned Parenthood, or can I go to a gynecologist w/o my parents finding out? Also I’m not sure how I’d pay for all of this so would Planned Parenthood be free?
ALSO, are there any home remedies I can try in the meantime (I’ve heard yogurt)?
