I have had a swollen lymph node for the past 4 weeks and was given antibiotics that I took for a week with no change in swelling. Now I findout that I have bacterial vaginosis. Could that be related?

was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis and just started taking the antibiotics today. The doctor prescribed me 500 mg, 2 a day for 7 days. I have heard that sometimes it doesn’t clear the infection and also sometimes causes yeast infection. My doctor said nothing about yeast, how will i know if my infection is cleared after taking the antibiotics, or if i have formed a yeast infection. Also, has anyone had to taket his antibiotic? Any weird side effects besides NO drinking of alcohol, i know. ? ALSO: When do symptoms start to clear up whil taking the antibiotics? I’m on my second day. Also my DR, said its non transmitable and said nothing about sex, can i have sex during treatment using a condom?

i wonder cuz i wipe from back to front and no symptoms and i dont douche or nething…uhh…so what happens if e coli goes in ur front area? and can there be e coli even if you dont see poop? i no its nasty but i just wanna know..thnks..
thnks but my concern is about bacterial vaginosis cuz it can have no symptoms and it can lead to PID which leads to infertility

If i go to the local clinic to be tested for bacterial vaginosis, do i have to have a parent concent?

My vagina has been smelling bad now for a while, i havent visisted my doctor due to the fact that i have no health insurance and well its pretty expensive. Ive had BV before but i would like to know in case i have this again, is it bad if i havent gotten any treatment for it?? Im really worried please help. Also could my husband be a blame for this? I noticed his penus smelled really bad and after having sex with him ive been having this problem.

I have had my period for about 6 years. I have only had sex twice and i think i have bacterial vaginosis. My discharge is off white and sticky and it smells verry fishy ALL the time, and i have more discharge than normal, but my vagina is never itchy or red. Are these symptoms of bacterial vaginosis?
Is there a cure for bacterial vaginosis?
How did i get it, and will it go away by drinking alot of water?

Ive tried the pills and the creams and nothing is working.. or it does work for a few days then my period comes along and it starts back up again.. anyone know any at home remedies or anything that has helped them with the chronic situation? thanks and anything will help =[ im miserable
yes i was diagnosed by a doctor, she prescribed me all these differant pills and creams and none are working, she said we will keep trying till we find something that works..

I went to see the doctor last week for terrible migraines and dizziness. He said it was a bacterial infection in my sinus cavities caused by a cold I never got over.

When I tried to Google, or search ‘bacterial infection’ all that came up was sinusitis. My doctor didn’t mention it was sinusitis though.

Does a bacterial infection in the sinus cavity necessarily make it sinusitis?

what do i do to get it out. douching is bad but in this scenario is it okay.

I thought I had the symptoms but my doctor said she didn’t find it and couldn’t smell anything. Is it possible that she missed it or that the test was wrong? Should I ask for another test?
