I’ve struggled with terrible bacterial vaginosis symptoms and am tired of being prescribed antibiotics by the doctor that do nothing. Can anyone recommend a program that really works?

I was with my ex for years and kept getting bacterial vaginosis. My Doctor told me that it is not a sexual transmitted disease but I havent had it again since I stopped having sex with him. Is it possible that he was the reason I kept getting it ?

I have a bacterial infection, but have not had sexual contact in months. Can this be cause by not wiping properly after going to the bathroom?

Any remedies with sites that have worked for you?

24 weeks pregnant, i THINK i have bacterial vaginosis or it could just be vaginal discharge but is there like over the counter cream or something i could use? i have a doctors app june 29th, should i just wait and tell me doctor than to play it safe?

I have had yeast infections before and at first I though that this was one. But earlier today I realized it might be something else. There is a clear discharge but it doesn’t smell at all (but my yeast infections don’t smell either) so that’s kind of why I thought it was a yeast infection. But now the outer area and near my bum is sore and irritated. Could this be the bacterial vaginosis? and is there any thing I can buy over the counter to help? It is friday night and I will not be able to see a Dr. until monday and would like to at least releive some of the discomfort if possible.

I thought I had a yeast infection but I don’t. I’m pretty sure if anything is wrong down there, I have bacterial vaginosis. So, can anyone tell me how to get rid of it naturally. No doc please.

hey guys so i’v researched BV and it sounds like i have it. i’m going to go to my docotor today. but can someone give me all the symptoms or is it just that it smells down there its itchy and you can get some like really foggy white discharge. thats whats happenin down there for me. should i know anything else? is this why having sex with my boyfriend has been hurting too?

I have recently been diagnosed with BV. I have been prescribed metronidazole, which i just started taking. My period is 10 days late today, after 2 negative pregnancy tests. Can one affect the other? I have been stressed this month, so that is also a consideration. Any help is greatly appreciated…
What are the chances of the HPTs being wrong?

I have never had an issue with vaginosis, and since I’ve received the Mirena, I’ve had it twice. My menstrual is almost nonexistent each month. Could this be the reason I keep getting it? Has anyone else using the Mirena had this issue?
