Metronidazole v’s clindamycin for treatment of bacterial vaginosis when pregnant in 1st trimester?
my gyne dr is going to prescribe me clindamycin in my next pregnancy,every 4 wks,but ive read that Metronidazole is more suitable.what is your knowledge of this and what medication were you given when pregnant and had b/v

For those of you out there who have had this, what were your symptoms? Right now, I’ve had one UTI for sure, and 2 that had all the symptoms of a UTI, but cultured negative for bacteria. It feels like I have a sore on one spot close to my vagina, but there’s no bumps or anything. It hurts during sex (sometimes–it’s better if I have a LOT of lube on, but I do not think the problem is the lube, since it was working fine before and we have not switched brands and there is no spermicide and the condoms haven’t changed either) and it also hurts to wipe after going to the bathroom. I had sex this morning and it didn’t hurt like it usually does (it might have been a little uncomfy at times where the sore is, but for the most part it was fine) but when I went to the bathroom afterwards, it BURNED on my vagina really bad when I peed. I was wondering–could I have bv?? Or what else could it be? I’m planning on going to the gyno soon, but I’d like to have an idea of what could be wrong.
I also sometimes itch pretty ferociously down there, but most of the time it’s normal.
Also, I don’t have any discharge.
I had a Pap test done in October and it was fine. I don’t have any raised up sores, it just feels like a sore when I have sex on one spot. Other than that, it’s fine on the inside of my vagina. The itching isn’t really around my vagina that much, and I haven’t itched for awhile, so the burning is not due to the itching.

I am wondering will vaginosis cause a man to feel sick to his stomache Once he has got it from the woman? Or is there a bacteria that can cause this if spread to him sexually?

a yellow discharge after menstrauation with some blood clot and abdominal pain ? what is that

I was treated for this but as soon as I had sex again the foul smell came back. How is it possible that my male partner is giving this to me. Is there another treatment for this? Any helpful responses are appreciated thanks.

I have had a cold for a week and am still coughing madly and blowing my nose every five minutes. My sinuses are painful and I can’t hear or taste anything. Do I now have a bacterial infection? Do I need to go to the doctor for some antibiotics or would they just say,’It’s a virus’?

can bacterial vaginosis be caused by pads too and not just tampons? if you dont get bacterial vaginosis treated asap can it turn into something more serious like hiv/aids or some kind of std? and also what are ways too help control discharge from bacterial vaginosis?

A friend of mine was Diagnosed with it, and got really freaked out when she heard that it could cause infertility.
